The Arcade Bar on the floor
The Arcade Bar sits on the casino floor, the main room with the slot machines and electronic table games. It serves pre-made items and an Arcade menu. Its hours are 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., 7 days a week.
On Friday and Saturday the casino stays open 24 hours, but the bar still closes at 1 a.m. A late visit on those nights means eating before then. Holiday hours are not known here and should be checked on the casino's own site.
MATCH and the Buffet
The casino has two restaurants. MATCH Eatery & Public House is a contemporary themed pub built around sports and entertainment. The second is the Buffet. You reach both through the casino's main entrance or through a patio entrance.
Opening times take a little more work. MATCH keeps its own hours, so check them before you go. Regular hours for the Buffet are not published. A call to the casino at 519-364-7606 settles whether it is open on the day you plan to visit. Holiday hours should be checked the same way.

Race-day food at the grandstand
Hanover Raceway shares the grounds with the casino, at 265 5th Street. It is a Standardbred (harness) track, and racing runs in a summer season, with race dates on hanoverraceway.com. On race days, admission is free and fans park for free. A grandstand concession sells burgers, fries, hot dogs, snacks and drinks. It serves during live racing only, and the raceway is licensed to sell alcohol then.
Putting food into the estimate
This guide prints no food or drink prices, because prices change. Instead, you type your own food and drink sum into the evening estimate. It sits beside the drive and your play limit, a sum decided at home and treated as spent. One plain tip helps with that number: decide whether dinner comes before the floor or after. The Arcade Bar closes at 1 a.m., even on the 24-hour nights.
